Granny’s Cookies
- 2c. raisins
- 1c. H2O
- 1c. shortening
- 2c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4c. all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp soda
- 2 tsp salt
- 1½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- ¼ tsp allspice
- 1c. chopped nuts
Boil water and raisins for 5 min. Cream sugar & shortening, add eggs, beat well. Add vanilla, raisins and flour. Drop onto greased pans. Bake 400 until you like them.
